Vikings At The Museum
The Modern Vikings set sail from the Norwegian city of Tønsberg on April 29th and passed over 100 channels and traveled 3500 kilometers. A 20-meter-long replica of a Viking sailing ship believed to have been used as a cargo ship a thousand years ago, named Saga Farmann, arrived in Istanbul on August 1st. The ship used by the Modern Vikings for their historic 93-day sea voyage was on display at the Rahmi M. Koç Museum.

Haslet Soyöz The Blue Where Land Ends Painting Exhibition
Master cartoonist and painter Haslet Soyöz once again shed light on maritime history with his exhibition “Where Darkness Ends, Blue Begins”. The exhibition features 26 oil paintings of maritime vessels ranging from the world's first public relations steamship, the Karadeniz, to the first steamship to sail from Turkey to the United States under the Turkish flag, the Gülcemal. The “Where the Darkness Ends, the Blue Begins” painting exhibition was on display at the Rahmi M. Koç Museum in Ankara from May 23rd to June 23rd 2024.

Centenary Legacy: Bengüboz Exhibition – The Projection of the Republic in Photographs
The immortal works of Ahmet İzzet Bengüboz, who is one of the most significant documentary photographers of the Early Republican period, were simultaneously on display at both Rahmi M. Koç Museum İstanbul and Ankara. The exhibition includes vibrant celebrations starting from the first anniversary to the twelfth anniversary of the Republic, and important documents of the social and cultural transformation in young Türkiye.
